Day 3 and 4 – Day Off. Sleep. Not eating.

Day 3 – Wednesday 27th of September

I had today off. It’s a Wednesday – I had planned to have most or ALL of my Wednesdays off to focus on my blog, youtube channel, social media and now I can use the time to focus on my fitness certificate as well.

I slept in until about 7am, that was kind of nice. Except there is this huge heat wave happening in Queensland and I woke up in a pool of my own sweat. I treated myself to a breakfast out and then buckled down and planned my day.

Or so I was going to. I ended up grabbing some snacks and watching 5 hours worth of youtube.

It wasn’t all unproductive. I started my first bullet journal. I’m a minimalist so the style is very monochrome and tidy. If you’d like to hear more about it or even see the designs let me know in the comments and I’ll make a separate post explaining the designs and planning process behind it. I think it took me around 30 minutes to plan, then a couple hours to create. I already had all of the supplies I needed so no extra money spent. YAY!

I didn’t really do much else on the Wednesday. So let’s move on.

Day 4 – Thursday 28th of September

Back to work feeling mildly anxious of the day to come. I ended up being early to work, which allowed me to organise myself and re group everything i had to complete that day.

Much to my suprise there seemed to be little if any repercussions to my previous ill loyalty to the cafe. My customers all missed me and they all showered me in compliments of my new hair. Oh – spoiler alert. I got a hair cut.

The only issue is. Lately i have been so busy I haven’t had time to eat my lunch. Today was no exception. 2.30pm came around I was out the door and heading home. It hit me how hungry I was. I know this is the worst time to be hungry because of the accessibility of all the bad foods. I chose to go home and eat avocado on toast with haloumi (my favourite treat snack/meal).

All of a sudden BAM!

Massive migraine.

I went to sleep at 4.30, hardly moved from the bed until 4.30am the next day.

It just goes to show. If your body needs to rest, it will make you do it. That still doesn’t change the fact that I am creating myself. I just need to make sure I incorporate more self love to nourish the wonderful host I have been given.
